About Ros Millar Jewellery

Many Ros Millar pieces are one of a kind or made in very limited numbers. Each piece is individually designed and handcrafted, so there may be natural variations in stones, textures, finishes and dimensions.
Where a piece is described as one of a kind, once sold it will not be reproduced exactly.

Yes. If you are in or visiting London, you are very welcome to arrange an appointment to view pieces in person.
For higher-value or one-of-a-kind pieces, Ros recommends viewing the piece in person where possible so that you can consider the scale, proportions, colour, finish and fit before purchasing.
Please contact Ros to arrange an appointment.

Yes. Selected Ros Millar pieces are available to purchase through the website.
When purchasing online, please check the description, measurements, photographs and any information about sizing carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions about a piece, please contact Ros before purchasing.

Ordering

Select the piece you would like to purchase and follow the checkout process.
An order confirmation will be sent to you by email.

Please contact Ros before purchasing if you would like additional information, photographs, measurements or advice about sizing.
For one-of-a-kind or higher-value pieces, you are particularly welcome to get in touch before placing your order.

Reservations are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed until Ros Millar has confirmed the reservation.
If a deposit is requested, the terms of that deposit will be confirmed to you before payment is made.

Ring Sizing & Resizing

If you are unsure of your ring size, please contact Ros before purchasing.
You are very welcome to arrange an appointment to visit the studio and try pieces on in person. Ros can advise you on sizing and fit before you make your purchase.
For one-of-a-kind rings, this is particularly recommended where possible.

Yes. Where the design and construction of the ring allow it, Ros Millar offers complimentary ring resizing on eligible pieces.
Please contact Ros directly to discuss the size you require. Resizing is arranged directly with Ros rather than through an automated online process.
Not every ring can be resized, and some designs may only be capable of being adjusted within a particular size range. This will always be discussed with you before any work is undertaken.

Please contact Ros directly before arranging a return.
Where the ring can be resized, Ros will discuss the required size with you and arrange the resizing directly.
If you are purchasing a one-of-a-kind ring online and are unsure about the size, Ros strongly recommends contacting her before purchase. You are also welcome to arrange an appointment to see the ring and discuss sizing in person.

Ros Millar normally offers complimentary resizing on eligible rings.
This applies to the initial resizing agreed with you and does not necessarily apply to subsequent alterations or changes requested after the original resizing.
If a particular piece cannot be resized in the usual way, or requires more extensive alteration, Ros will discuss this with you before any work is carried out.

Yes. Where the design allows, Ros is happy to discuss resizing after purchase.
Please contact Ros directly and the resize will be arranged with you.

If you purchase an eligible ring online and subsequently request a resize, please contact Ros before the resizing work begins if you are considering returning the piece.
Once a ring has been altered or resized specifically to your requirements, its cancellation rights may be affected because the item has been altered at your request.
For this reason, if you are unsure whether the ring is right for you, Ros recommends viewing it in person before requesting any alteration.

Returns & Exchanges

For standard, non-personalised goods purchased online, UK consumer law generally gives you a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without having to give a reason.
If you wish to cancel, please notify Ros within 14 days of receiving your order. You will then have a further 14 days to return the item.
The item must be returned in its original condition, with any original packaging and documentation where applicable.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the item while it is in your possession. You may handle and inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop, but you may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.

Please contact Ros as soon as possible, and within 14 days of receiving your order, to let her know that you wish to cancel your purchase.
Please include your order number and the item you wish to return.
Please do not send an item back without contacting Ros first.
Return instructions, including the appropriate delivery and insurance requirements for the item, will then be provided directly.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning an item when exercising the statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase.
For jewellery, and particularly for higher-value or one-of-a-kind pieces, we strongly recommend using a fully tracked and appropriately insured delivery service.
Ros Millar cannot accept responsibility for an item that is lost or damaged while being returned until it has been safely received.

Once the returned item has been received, your refund will be processed in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
The refund will normally include the cost of the original standard delivery. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, only the equivalent standard delivery cost is required to be refunded.

Ros Millar may offer exchanges on eligible pieces as a gesture of goodwill.
An exchange policy does not replace or remove your statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase and receive a refund.
If you would prefer an exchange rather than a refund, please contact Ros before returning your item.
Any replacement piece will be subject to availability.

Not necessarily.
Certain pieces may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right where they have been made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
This may include certain bespoke commissions and pieces that have been specifically altered or customised at your request.
Any applicable exclusion will be made clear before you place your order.

If an item is faulty, damaged before it reaches you, or does not match its description, please contact Ros as soon as possible.
Your statutory consumer rights in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the voluntary returns policy described above.
Where an item is confirmed to be faulty or otherwise does not conform to the contract, Ros Millar will deal with the matter in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Bespoke & Made-to-Order Jewellery

Yes. Ros Millar undertakes selected bespoke and made-to-order commissions.
Because these pieces are created specifically for an individual customer, the design, materials, dimensions, gemstones and other details will be agreed before work begins.

Bespoke and personalised goods may be exempt from the statutory online cancellation right where they are made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
For every bespoke commission, the agreed design, price, payment schedule, timescale and cancellation terms will be confirmed before work begins.

Please contact Ros as soon as possible.
Once materials have been purchased, work has begun or a piece has been made specifically to your requirements, costs may already have been incurred and the commission may not be capable of being cancelled or resold.
Any cancellation or change to a bespoke commission will therefore be considered in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable consumer law.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be requested for certain bespoke, made-to-order or commissioned pieces.
The amount of the deposit and the terms applying to it will be explained before payment.

This depends on the nature of the order and the circumstances of cancellation.
Any deposit or cancellation term will be clearly explained before payment and will be subject to applicable consumer law.

Payment methods available at checkout will be displayed on the website.
For bespoke commissions or high-value purchases, alternative payment arrangements may be available by prior agreement.

Delivery

Because many Ros Millar pieces are high-value and one of a kind, orders are sent using an appropriate tracked and insured delivery service.
Delivery arrangements will be confirmed at the time of purchase.

This depends on the nature of the order and the circumstances of cancellation.
Any deposit or cancellation term will be clearly explained before payment and will be subject to applicable consumer law.
